The Fernery

Saturday was kind of a recovery day after the busy events of the week. But we did manage to take a stroll over to the Auckland Domain, which is a giant park in the middle of the city. And in the middle of that giant park is a giant greenhouse filled with beautiful and exotic plants and flowers that are native to New Zealand. It is called The Fernery.

If you know me well, you know that I have never had much of a green thumb. In fact, I believe I have killed every plant I have ever owned. So the fact that I was so excited about this (and that I took sooo many pictures) should tell you something about how spectacular it really is.
